BILTA is passionate about translating the Bible and essential literature materials into languages that connect with people's hearts and cultures. Our mission is to ensure that these texts inspire faith, foster understanding, and empower communities by making knowledge and truth accessible to all.

Through collaboration and dedication, we strive to ensure that no one is left without access to the transformative power of these texts.

Translation Projects

Providng you with initiatives and activities related to translating religious texts, scriptures, or other spiritual materials.

Bible Translation

We support and engage in Bible translation projects, working to translate the Bible into languages that currently do not have access to a complete translation.

Liturgical Texts

We undertake the translation of liturgical texts, such as prayers, hymns, and worship resources.

Study Materials and Devotionals

We develop translation projects to create study materials, devotionals, or discipleship resources. These resources can aid individuals in their spiritual growth, providing accessible materials that align with their cultural and linguistic context.

Pastor Dickson Nyirenda

Operations and Programs officer
Pastor Dickson Nyirenda was born on 20th April, 1981, in Chama District, Zambia. He began his education in 1989 and completed his Grade 12 at Isoka Secondary School in 2005. Passionate about theology, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Vision International University in 2016. In 2024, he furthered his education with a Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Master's degree in Religious Studies. Professionally, Pastor Dickson has been serving as the Operations and Programs Officer at the Bible and Literature Translation Association (BiLTA) since September 18, 2023. He is also serving as a pastor.
